A personal note from the Director’s Office
2019 was a year of a new beginning for me. In 2010, God spoke to me about starting a missionary training program online to bless those who are called to do missions work but who cannot afford to pay for training. As a former missionary in India for 5 years, where God blessed me with the opportunity to plant a church among Hindus, I understand first-hand the challenges that face a missionary. I also recognize the need for appropriate training not just for the mind but more so the transformation of the heart and soul of the one preparing to serve cross-culturally. Furthermore, I saw the need for a safe place for missionaries to continue to receive mentoring and on-going equipping as they serve in often very gospel-resistant environments. This is the heart behind the birth of Go Equip.
Go Equip is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit, EIN#83-2094454, that seeks to train and mentor individuals who are called to or are doing missionary work through its banner program the Missionary Training School Online (MTSO).
While the training is free for these missionaries to be (Students only pay a one-time technology fee of $150 for the entire program), running the training costs something. It is in this regard that I invite you to partner with me. I am looking for 100 partners who will commit to give $20 a month for 12 months. Your donation will go exclusively towards the expenses related with running an online missionary training school. Together let us live out Matthew 9:38 (NIV) to not just “Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field,” but to help equip such workers so they may effectively bring in a harvest of souls into God’s presence.
